Seeking Volunteers to Care for Adoptable Cats at PetSmart

Multnomah County Animal Services is looking for compassionate volunteers to help care for our adoptable cats staying at PetSmart while they wait for adopters! You'll get to socialize with the cats, refresh their kennels, and help them meet potential adopters at Petsmart Gresham.

What you’ll be doing

  • Cat Care: Scooping litter, monitoring and filling food and water, and refreshing kennel spaces and bedding.
  • Matchmaking: Introducing potential adopters to the cats, sharing their fun personalities, and helping them find their new families!

Shift Windows

  • Morning: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM 
  • Mid-Day: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Evening: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
