ALERT: Intake and Adoptions for Dogs are Paused at the Shelter
Multnomah County Animal Services (MCAS) notified the Oregon State Veterinarian of an outbreak of Streptococcus zooepidemicus (SZ) and, as a part of standard protocol, has been issued a quarantine notice for dogs in care. The shelter is not currently able to accept found dogs, or place dogs for adoption.
