Sweet as Sugar, sleek as Raven! Hi there, I'm Sugar (my foster family calls me Raven). I'm a sweet, beautiful girl who has spent the last few weeks working hard as a dedicated mama cat, but now that my kittens are growing up, I'm ready for my well-deserved turn to relax, be pampered, and be the center of attention in a home of my own! I can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once I know I'm safe, my affectionate side shines right through; I love sitting right next to you, getting head and chin scratches, and lounging on your lap. I do great with gentle, calm kids ages nine and up who understand my boundaries, and I prefer resting on a soft towel or rug on the floor over a fluffy cat bed-I like keeping things simple! Because dogs are very scary to me, I need a strictly dog-free home where I can feel completely safe, and since towels or blankets over me make me feel trapped, I prefer open-air cuddling and gentle pets on my own terms. Because I spent time on my own outdoors before coming to foster care, I am still learning what living in a home is all about, but every day I blossom a little more into a confident, social, and loving companion.
