Lolo is a beautiful, smart, and high-energy girl who is fully house-trained, avoids the crate, and is polite and quiet in the home, showing no separation anxiety. She is an incredible partner on the leash for a very active family who enjoys multiple daily walks and needs a fenced yard for her favorite activity: playful zoomies. However, she is a timid and sensitive dog, easily scared by loud noises and sometimes cowering around men, and she will be happiest and best-behaved when placed in a home with a playful, confident, and respectful dog buddy from whom she can learn social cues. While she loves affection on her own terms, greeting her humans at the door and nudging for neck scratches, her fear manifests in dog-dog interactions as she can become overwhelmed, giving sharp air-snap corrections when other dogs crowd her space, and she also displays a prey drive toward running cats and dogs. To best meet Lolo's unique needs, and set her up for a lifetime of success, we are requiring that she be adopted to a home with an existing confident and social dog. 💕
