In the meantime, the fastest way to this charming kitten's heart is through a tube of Churu treats, which he's so delightfully addicted to that he'll comfortably climb right into your lap just for a taste. Because he is a bit sensitive, it may take several weeks for Checkers to fully adjust to a new home. He might be fearful or hide at first while he takes in his new surroundings, so he will need a patient adopter who can give him the space and time he needs to feel safe. Checkers is bonded with his equally sweet sister, Catan, and the pair is ready to bring double the joy to a forever home once they settle in!
