Adoption Updates

  • Adoption services are available online. In-person browsing for adoptable animals at the shelter is not available.
  • Adoption fees are waived.
  • Responses to adoption applications may be delayed due to demand and staffing.

MCAS is now only accepting outdoor adult cats that are sick, injured, abandoned, or in danger. Learn more.

Multnomah County Animal Services Officers are no longer picking up deceased small wildlife, including squirrels, opossums, or birds. Learn more about these changes, and safely disposing of deceased wildlife.
