About me

Hi my name is Lily. I'm an active sweet young girl who absolutely LOVES to play with and chase toys! I can in fact make anything into a toy though my current favorite is a ping-pong ball that I bat all over the place. My foster volunteer calls me Silly Lilly with reason -- I carry my subdued toy (prey) in my mouth and prance around. I came to the shelter as a young kitten with my brother Jackson who was adopted by a wonderful family last week. I've lived at my foster volunteer's house for a little over 2 months now, I've grown up a bit, I'm much more trusting of people, and I feel it's my turn to find my forever family. I've become more talkative since I'm the only cat in the house because I sometimes need to ask my humans to play. I sleep with them on their bed at night, I purr loudly when I'm pet and I've even chosen to sit on a human lap several times. I'll allow my foster volunteer to clip my claws though I can't say I enjoy it, and I've even worn a harness with an attached leash though it's still a bit cold to go outside. If you have another young playful cat in your house who's looking for a playmate please consider meeting me. I will, however, do just fine as a single cat if you don't have one - as long as you agree, that is, to be my playmate. I used to think that people were scary now I know better; people can be good playmates too. As you can see by my picture I'm a short-hair shinny black furred beauty. If you have questions about me or, hopefully, you want to meet me just click on the link to fill out the application on my MCAS foster website.
