For Rebekah U., fostering medically needy cats feels like an easy and rewarding extension of what she’s already doing for her owned cats, and in her medical profession.
In five years at MCAS, Jackie Vitron has scaled a lifetime of experience in animal care to meet the demands of 1,000 kittens treated through the Kitten Triage Program each year.

Tracy J. has always had animals, whether they were cats, dogs, chickens, or goats. So it came naturally for Tracy to want to help the animals of our community as a foster volunteer.
When Heidi was a child, her mother took in an abandoned cat. Ever since, Heidi has wanted to take care of animals in need of special help- a role that she now fulfills as foster volunteer.
