Community Support Reduces Shelter Population - Update

Thanks to overwhelming community support, many animals at our shelter have been adopted, and selection is limited. Thank you to our transfer partners, our volunteers, and to adopters and advocates.
MCAS will reopen for in-person adoptions on January 11. Learn what to expect when you visit the shelter to meet adoptable pets, and how to prepare for adoption.
No Fee Adoptions - Extended Until February 11, 2023

Adopt a pet from Multnomah County Animal Services (MCAS) without paying an adoption fee. MCAS has waived adoption fees for all animals until February 11, 2023.
