Jim and his partner adopted Beegee a year ago. They'd been searching shelter websites for small dogs, and when Beegee appeared, they immediately visited and adopted the best small dog ever.

Congratulations to Ronda L., the February 2021 Volunteer of the Month. As a foster volunteer since 1998, Ronda has saved countless kittens and cats over the years.

MCAS welcomes Oregon Humane Society, Mt. Scott Animal Clinic, NVA St Francis 24 Hour Animal Hospital, and Gresham Animal Hospital as veterinary providers for spay/neuter or rabies vaccination.

When visiting bodies of water, be on the alert for dead fish that may carry a parasite organism harmful to dogs if ingested. Keep dogs on leash around water and don't let them eat raw fish.
