Congratulations to Ranee M., nominated and chosen as the September 2019 Multnomah County Animal Services (MCAS) Volunteer of the Month.

MCAS is now fully open for adoptions and found animal intake. Please call 503-988-7387 to schedule an intake appointment if you have a found animal to bring to the shelter.

The shelter is open for dog adoptions, while intake for new dogs is still closed. There have been no additional deaths or new cases of Streptococcus zooepidemicus (SZ) in the adoption kennels.

Monica D. has volunteered at Multnomah County Animal Services since 2015, and focuses on finding the right adoption matches for visitors to the shelter.
