Mama is a sweet girl with the biggest, brightest smile and a heart full of love! She may be a little shy when meeting new people or exploring unfamiliar places, but give her a little time and patience, and her gentle, happy personality begins to shine. Mama recently enjoyed a Pawsport Adventure and her field trip gave us a wonderful glimpse of what she's like outside the shelter! During her adventure, Mama enjoyed exploring new surroundings, taking in all the interesting smells, and spending time in a backyard where she could relax and play. She showed off her playful side with a game of fetch, demonstrated that she knows "sit," and proved to be a great listener. She even has a favorite snack: fishy treats! Mama also showed us what a polite little lady she can be. She quietly watched people and dogs passing by without barking, and when she spotted a cat through a screen door, she simply looked and walked away. She rode nicely in the car, too! Loud traffic noises made Mama a little nervous, but she did well when given the time and space to take things at her own pace. As she became more comfortable, her curious and affectionate personality really began to shine. With her striking black-and-white coat, adorable smile, and playful spirit, Mama has so much love to give. She's looking for a patient, loving home where she can continue building confidence, enjoy some backyard adventures, and discover just how wonderful life with a family can be.
