Meet Coconut, a sweet and gentle soul who is looking for a patient family to help his true colors shine! While this handsome male Husky can still be a bit timid and "scared of life" when meeting new people or facing unfamiliar situations, he has made incredible strides in his foster home. Coconut is an absolute dream on the leash-he doesn't pull, never tries to bolt when it's walk time, and is even learning to eagerly approach you to get geared up and practice his "wait" at the door. He is a wonderfully quiet boy who doesn't bark, is completely house-trained (he will politely let you know when he needs to go potty), and has proven to be great with cats! Though he can be initially skittish and needs a little time to process his surroundings, once he feels safe, he loves gentle neck scratches and will happily bond with his handler. Coconut is dog-tolerant to dog-social in playgroups, meaning he'd love some canine friends, but because of his clever Husky roots, he will require a home with a secure fence to keep his inner escape artist safe.
