Multnomah County Animal Services, experiencing high intake in dogs, urges support from community members seeking to adopt this weekend.

Thank you to our community of supporters for adopting animals, and sharing the no-fee adoption event on social media. Your support placed nearly sixty animals in new homes.

MCAS is now fully open for adoptions and found animal intake. Please call 503-988-7387 to schedule an intake appointment if you have a found animal to bring to the shelter.

More than 100 outstanding recommendations have been identified and assigned to 31 projects, for staff to implement and report on progress going forward

In Sue’s twenty-five-year career at Multnomah County Animal Services (MCAS), she has worn many hats, including animal care worker, field services officer, dispatcher, and CVT.

Tracy J. has always had animals, whether they were cats, dogs, chickens, or goats. So it came naturally for Tracy to want to help the animals of our community as a foster volunteer.
