Thank You For Supporting Community Pets Through the Fred Meyer Howl-o-ween Pet Food Drive

Thank you to our amazing community for your incredible generosity during the October Fred Meyer Howl-o-ween pet food drive! Thanks to you, we collected more than 1,100 donated items—including pet food, treats, and toys—at local Fred Meyer stores.

Every single donation makes a direct impact. These vital supplies support shelter pets, as well as assist community members in need through the Multnomah County Animal Services's Community Shelf, and partner organizations.

We want to send a very special shoutout to our incredible volunteers: Diane, Julie, Tina, Vanessa, and Jodi. They dedicated their time to travel and pick up donations across seven different Fred Meyer locations in Multnomah County. Their hard work, coordination, and enthusiasm were absolutely vital to the success of this event.

Finally, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to Fred Meyer. Thank you for opening your doors to this event and for your steadfast support of shelter pets throughout October. Your partnership helps keep pets fed, happy, and in loving homes where they belong!
