Tess Bedell is celebrating five (5) years as a Client Services staffer at Multnomah County Animal Services (MCAS), and as a Multnomah County Employee.

Rufus is a big lap dog in his new home, and has gone from fearful behavior to cuddling with his people.

Denise loves the camaraderie of volunteering, training new volunteers, making adoption matches, and above all - knowing she’s made a positive difference for animals during their time at the shelter.

There is an abundance of adoptable bunnies at MCAS. These gentle animals are curious, sweet, and make excellent pets with the right preparation.

Kelso was adopted with a health condition, and his adopters didn't know how long they would have him as a result. So far, they've enjoyed over three years together. Read more about Kelso's story.
