Despite his large size, Achilles is a big softie who's guaranteed to steal your heart with his sweet and friendly demeanor. With his upbeat personality and unwavering loyalty, Achilles is sure to make a wonderful companion for the right family. It's important to note that he has a medical condition affecting his right rear leg. While he's been making great progress in our care, Achilles will require strict activity restriction for the next 8-12 weeks, possibly longer, to ensure he fully recovers. At this time surgery is not needed but while he heals it's important to let him rest. We currently recommend that he goes to a home with no other dogs due to having some dog reactivity in his past and needing to rest. Despite this, Achilles is determined to live life to the fullest and is ready to embark on a new adventure with a loving family who will support him every step of the way.
