Provide Your Input For a New Animal Services Facility
Multnomah County is seeking input from community members as it designs its proposed new animal shelter and service center.
The County has launched an online “open house” where community members can share feedback that can help shape the future facility while they also learn more about Multnomah County Animal Services and understand why a new building is needed.
Provide feedback and learn more
Learn more about the services we provide, the challenges visitors and our staff experience, and why we need a new facility. We also invite you to share your experience visiting or using our services.
- Your input today helps us develop designs and identify priorities for a future facility.
- Provide feedback through October 1, 2026.
The new shelter will serve pets, people and its employees for decades to come. Learn more information on the project, ask you some questions to help direct the project, and inform you on other opportunities to provide input. This is one of several opportunities to answer questions and give us your thoughts and feedback on the concept design.
The County will complete a concept design for the new facility this fall, and will offer opportunities for the public to review and provide input on ways to make the facility welcoming to both the animals and people it serves.
