Multnomah County Animal Services has just launched a new ad campaign. Be prepared to encounter an Uncle Sam-like cat proclaiming "I want you... to adopt me" from billboards and bus shelters around Portland. You may also see our adoption campaign ads in some well-known, local publications. We're pleased to report that this campaign was made possible entirely by generous private donations from MCAS pet enthusiasts.

The group of ads will highlight our six neighborhood cat adoption partners. Our partners are small, local, neighborhood businesses that house, care for and adopt out MCAS's homeless cats. We hope that this new partnership will make Portland's homeless, adoptable cats more accessible to Portlanders and enable us to keep improving our cat save rate. We're also making an effort to be more visible in the community we serve. When people are thinking about adopting a new pet, we hope they'll visit Portland's only open door shelter, Multnomah County Animal Services, or one of our neighborhood cat adoption partners:
