115+ Dogs Helped by MCAS Foster Homes in 2011
MCAS is fortunate to have an amazing network of volunteers and foster families for our shelter animals. In 2011, more than 115 dogs received extra TLC by foster families. Dogs that go into foster care may be in need of some quiet time away from the stress of the kennels or may need a little extra training before being adopted out. Some dogs have illnesses or injuries they need to recuperate from and some dogs are just too young or too timid to be on the adoption floor. Thank you to all of our cat and dog foster caregivers for making a huge difference in the lives of MCAS shelter animals.
